Lord I have Cried, Tone 8, on 10: Idiomelon of the Triodion x2 (Having completed the forty days); Martyricon 1 (O martyrs of the Lord); Lazarus: 7 (O Lord, wishing to see the tomb); G: Standing before the Tomb; N: Having completed the forty days.

Entrance, O Gladsome Light. Prokimenon, Tone 6: Our help is in the name of the Lord, Who hath made heaven and the earth. Reading (Gen. 49:33 – 50:26). Prokimenon, Tone 4: They that trust in the Lord shall be as Mount Zion; nevermore shall he be shaken. Reading (Prov. 31:8-32) .

[It should be noted that the stichera in the Triodion are arranged for the Presanctified, and so stichera are shifted around if vespers is served without the Presanctified]

Aposticha: Idiomelon of the Triodion x2 (Having completed the forty days that bring profit to our soul, we beseech Thee); and the Martyricon (O martyrs of the Lord) with the usual verses from the Horologion (Unto Thee have I lifted up mine eyes & Have mercy on us, O Lord, have mercy on us, for greatly are we filled with abasement); G/N: (Standing before the Tomb) from the Doxasticon at Lord I have cried.

Now lettest Thou Thy servant. Troparia: In confirming the common resurrection. Litany: Have mercy on us, O God. Then the priest says the prayer of St. Ephrem with 3 prostrations. O All-Holy Trinity. Blessed be the name of the Lord. Psalm 33. Priest: Wisdom. Choir: It is truly meet to bless thee, the Theotokos, ever-blessed and most blameless, and mother of our God. Priest: O most holy Theotokos, save us. Choir: More honorable. Priest: Glory to Thee, O Christ God, our hope, glory to Thee. Choir: G/N; Lord, have mercy x3; Father (Master) bless. Then the Dismissal.

 

Great Compline: After the first Trisagion: Troparion: In confirming the common resurrection. After the second Trisagion: Have mercy on us, O Lord (In the Horologion). After the Doxology: The Canon in the Triodion. After the Trisagion: Kontakion: Christ, the joy of all. The lesser Dismissal is used

After the first Kathisma (Kathisma 16): Small Litany; Sessional Hymn from the Triodion x2 (Taking pity)

After the second Kathisma (Kathisma 17): Evlogitaria (The assembly of angels was amazed), as on Sundays, with the usual censing of the whole temple.
