Errata

 

P. 2, at the vespers Troparia, it should read “the Deacon (or the priest, if there is no deacon) censes…”

 

p. 18. The first Epistle and Gospel readings listed are incorrect. The readings at the end of the Rubrics, in the Liturgy section are correct.  The correct readings are:

 

Epistle:1 Tim. 4:9-15 (§285 (mid)); Acts 12:1-11 (§29).

 

Gospel: Luke 19:1-10 (§94); John 21:15-25 (§67).

 

p. 35, the Exapostilaria should read: “Resurrection, Triodion (As I ponder); G: Triodion (Behold there comes the day); N: Feast (Set by the Spirit in the sanctuary)”.

The Prokimena should read: “Tone 3, Great is our Lord, and great is His strength. & Tone 3: My soul doth magnify the Lord.”

The Communion Hymn should read: “Praise the Lord in the heavens. & I will take the cup of salvation.”

 

p. 83, the note regarding the Three-canticled canons, should read as follows:

 

Before Odes 4, 8 and 9, the two three-canticled canons from the Triodion are read without irmoi and without bows, with the refrain, Holy apostles, pray to God for us.

 

p. 134, the Exapostilarion of the Great-martyr should read: Springtime hath shone forth upon us.

 

p. 230, the note should read: Note: If the rector so directs, a Polyeleos-rank service may be served for St. Edward. See ODS, §1D.

 

p. 231, the Beatitudes should read: Beatitudes on 10, Octoechos 6; Hieromartyr 4, from Ode 3.

 

P. 246, Pericope numbers (not Scripture references) for the Saint are incorrect. They should be II Timothy, 3:10-15 (§296); Matthew 25:1-13 (§104).

 

p. 263 The Alleluia Verses should be Tone 5 & Tone 8.

 

p. 297 The reference to readings at Vespers is an error. There are no readings appointed for Vespers.

 

p. 303 The last line on this page should say “Tone 6”, rather than “Tone 4”.

 

p. 304 God is the Lord is in Tone 6, rather than Tone 4, as is the Matins Prokimenon.
