Normal Weekend Schedule:

 

Unless otherwise noted below, our usual schedule for Saturday and Sunday is:

 

Saturday evening:          Vigil                             at         5:00 p.m.

 

Sunday morning:           Sunday School             at         9:00 a.m.

                                    Hours                           at         9:40 a.m.     

                                    Liturgy                          at         10:00 a.m.

Saturday, November 21st

There will be no Vigil at St. Jonah’s.  Instead we will be

attending the Vigil at St. Vladimir’s which will be at 5:00 p.m.,

since Bishop Peter will be serving there on this evening.

 

Sunday, November 22nd

 

There will be a Thanksgiving Moleben

at the end of the Divine Liturgy

 

Thursday, December 3rd

 

6:30 p.m. Vigil for the Feast of the Entry of the Theotokos

Friday, December 4th

 

5:40 a.m. Hours

6:00 a.m. Liturgy for the feast of the Entry of the Theotokos.

 

Friday, December 18th

 

6:30 p.m. Vigil for the Feast of St. Nicholas

Saturday, December 19th

 

9:00 a.m. Hours

9:20 a.m. Liturgy for the feast of St. Nicholas.

 

Tuesday, January 5th

 

6:30 p.m. Vigil for Christmas Eve

Wednesday, January 6th

 

9:00 a.m. Royal Hours 

10:30 a.m. Vesperal Liturgy of Christmas Eve

 

6:30 p.m.  Vigil (Great Compline and Matins) of

the Nativity of the Lord

 

Thursday, January 7th

 

9:00 a.m. Hours

9:20 a.m. Liturgy of the Nativity of the Lord,

followed by a festal Trapeza.

 

Wednesday, January 13th

 

6:30 p.m.  Vigil of the Feast of the Circumcision of the Lord

& St. Basil the Great

 

Thursday, January 14th

6:00 a.m. Liturgy of the feast of the Circumcision of the Lord

& St. Basil the Great

 

Monday, January 18th

(This MLK Day, and so is a State and Federal Holiday)

 

9:00 a.m. Royal Hours 

10:30 a.m. Vesperal Liturgy of Theophany Eve

with the Great blessing of the waters

 

6:30 p.m.  Vigil (Great Compline and Matins) of

the Theophany of the Lord

 

Tuesday, January 19th

 

9:00 a.m. Hours

9:20 a.m. Liturgy of the Theophany of the Lord.

 

Saturday, January 30th

 

5:00 p.m. Vespers only will be served, due to the Icon Exhibit.

 

Sunday, January 31st 

 

9:00 a.m. Hours

9:20 a.m. Liturgy

There will be no Sunday School on this Sunday,

due to the Icon Exhibit
