1. Remember us, O
Christ, Thou Savior of the world, as Thou didst remember the thief upon the
Cross; and account us all worthy of Thy heavenly kingdom, O Thou Who alone art
compassionate.
2. Hearken, O
Adam, and rejoice with Eve; for he who of old stripped you both naked, and by
deception hath taken all of us captive, hath been set at nought by the Cross of
Christ.
3. Nailed of Thine
own will to the Tree, O our Savior, Thou didst deliver Adam from the curse
which came through the tree, and hast rewarded that which is in Thine image
with a dwelling in paradise, in that Thou art compassionate.
4. Today is Christ
risen from the tomb, granting incorruption unto all the faithful; and He
reneweth the joy of the myrrh-bearing women after His suffering and
resurrection.
5. Rejoice, O wise
myrrh-bearing women, who were first to behold the resurrection of Christ, and
who proclaimed to the apostles the glad tidings of the restoration of the whole
world!
6. O ye apostles,
who are manifestly the friends of Christ and are to be enthroned with Him in
glory: entreat Him with boldness, that He intercede for us, for ye are His
disciples.
7. Receiving the pure and undefiled one, who is more splendid than all creation, the animate bridal chamber of God, the beautiful Temple and chamber doth today appear as that which adorneth the bride for her wedding.
8. David, preceding the chorus, doth leap and dance with us, and declareth thee, O all-pure one, the queen adorned, who standeth in the Temple before our King and God, O most pure one.
9. From her, from whom transgressions went forth among the human race, hath her correction and incorruption blossomed forth, the Theotokos, who is led today into the house of God.
10. The angelic armies and multitude of all men leap for joy, and they advance as lampbearers before thy countenance, proclaiming thy majesty in the house of God.

O our Life and Resurrection, O Lord, glory be to Thee.

In the temple of God, the Virgin is presented openly, /
and she proclaimeth Christ unto all. /
To her, then, with a great voice let us cry aloud: /
Rejoice, O thou fulfillment //
of the Creator’s dispensation.
Having risen from
the tomb, Thou didst raise up the dead and didst resurrect Adam. /
Eve also danceth
at Thy Resurrection, //
and the ends of
the world celebrate Thine arising from the dead, O Greatly-merciful one.

the most precious bridal-chamber and Virgin, /
the sacred treasury of the glory of God, /
is on this day brought into the house of the Lord, /

The angels beholding the
entry of the most pure one /
were struck with wonder, //

Let no profane hand touch the
living Ark of God, /
but let the lips of the
faithful, chanting unceasingly /
the words of the angel to the
Theotokos, /

Truly art thou high above all, O
pure Virgin.
Communion Verse: Praise the Lord from the heavens, praise Him in the
highest! I will take the cup of salvation, and I will
