The Icon Exhibit

St. Jonah Orthodox Church

Our parish hosted an Icon Exhibit, consisting of more than 60 Russian icons, mostly from the 17^th through the 19^th Century.

The Bookstore expanded its selection this year.

The Parish Sisterhood also set up a tea room, where they sold ethnic pastries and drinks.

The Choir sang a selection of Hymns

Fr. Joseph Huneycutt was among our speakers. He is the author of the recently published book

“One Flew Over the Onion Dome.”

Since we held the Icon Exhibit for 3 days this year, we held our Sunday Morning Liturgy with all the icons still out.

Several area clergy stopped by. That’s Fr. John Filopovich of St. Michael’s in Humble, Texas.
